my design process for a current logo competition...
The brain storming..
Using mind mapping to create my ideas in order to figure out where I want this
logo concept to build from is crucial for myself as it is for most designers.
Then come the first sketches of the initial idea...The client originally thought of using "gears" for the "C's" company name Clearly Creative LLC. As well as playful, loud and complex. Although this isn't very complex the initial sketches are off to a good start in the playful side of things.
these were the logo ideas I came up with just from the mind mapping and the sketches created.
